There&#039;s a lot of thoughtfulness here.  I appreciate the importance you place on prioritization. To me, that&#039;s the crux of all this. It isn&#039;t until one undertakes a system to actually understand their work - that they can even begin to prioritize.

Having sat through countless sessions of alleged feature prioritization with teams and clients where people prioritized what they &lt;i&gt;thought&lt;/i&gt; was important has shown me that good prioritization requires good introspection which requires good information.  This isn&#039;t limited to teams, even individuals have this problem. 

(And yes, I get the Scrumban Reference... :-) )
