Nothing can replace the satisfaction of learning new skills by actually performing those skills in a safe environment. This Power Agile™ immersion has been built specifically to allow project managers and other team leaders to gain experience in a safe environment. The immersion gives insight into how leadership is different from traditional management and which skills are needed to help maximize team performance.

Each course exercise is designed to challenge long-held assumptions and help attendees learn the differences between Agile/Scrum projects and traditional projects. A class project exercise helps each attendee experience different roles and scenarios which are likely to arise in real situations. The course facilitator helps individuals and their class teams learn as they proceed through each phase of the exercise which allows all attendees to learn from each other. This exchange of information is an accelerated learning technique which has been proven to improve knowledge retention over time.

The immersion gives practical knowledge and skills to the attendees. It also creates friendships and support networks which can be utilized in the future. Learning from each other encourages each person to pay attention to the entire workshop. This results in increased learning as well as helping each attendee understand how they can best help their teams be successful.
